What is the function and structure of Bare Engine?

As we all know, Bare Engine are the heart of cars, and small parts are needed in Bare Engine to ensure the normal operation of Bare Engine.

It plays a vital role in Bare Engine, so why does such a small thing play such a big role? Here are some knowledge points about Bare Engine.
The connecting rod is a slender non-circular member with a variable cross-section, and its rod body cross-section gradually decreases from the big end to the small end to adapt to the sharp changes in dynamic loads during work.
It consists of three parts: the big end of the connecting rod, the rod body and the small end of the connecting rod. The big end of the connecting rod is separated, half of which is integrated with the rod body, and the other half is the connecting rod cover. The connecting rod cover is assembled with the crankshaft main journal using bolts and nuts.
The connecting rod connects the piston and the crankshaft, transmits the force of the piston to the crankshaft, and converts the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotational motion of the crankshaft.
It is one of the main transmission components of Cummins Engine. One of the main transmission components transmits the pressure of the expanding gas acting on the top of the piston to the crankshaft, and converts the reciprocating linear motion of the piston into the rotational motion of the crankshaft.
