Precautions for assembling Bare Engine

Bare Engine should not be damaged, folded, or hardened by aging, nor should they be too thick or too thin, otherwise they should be replaced. When installing, the curled side should face the cylinder head.

When installing a used Isuzu Engine, it must be carefully checked. If there is any damage, new parts should be replaced; at the same time, do not install the Isuzu Engine in reverse.

(1) Pay attention to cleaning, proceed in order, use special tools, and do not knock randomly.

(2) Pay attention to various marks. Various assemblies such as cylinder and piston, piston pin and connecting rod, crankshaft bearing, connecting rod bearing, etc. cannot be interchanged, and should be assembled according to the marks when they were originally disassembled.

(3) When assembling tightly fitting parts, they should be heated appropriately to ensure the tightness of the fit, but the heating should not be too high to avoid changes in the metallographic structure of the part matrix.

(4) Used daily pins, lock plates and lock wires cannot be used again.

(5) When assembling, each lubrication part should be lubricated with lubricating oil.
