Bare Engine processing process flow

The blanks of steel MG Roewe Maxus Engine are generally produced by forging, and there are two forms of blanks: one is to forge the body and cover separately.

The other is to forge the body and cover into one piece, and then cut it during processing or use the expansion and fracture process to expand and fracture it. In addition, in order to avoid blank defects, 100% hardness measurement and detection are required.

1) The correct selection of rough reference and the reasonable design of the initial positioning fixture are a crucial issue in the processing process.

When positioning the side of the Bare Engine head, the rough reference positioning method of the Bare Engine reference end face and the outer circle of the small head blank three points and the outer circle of the large head blank two points is adopted. In this way, the machining allowance of the large and small head holes and the covering machining surface can be uniform, the weighing of the Bare Engine head can be uniform, and the shape and position of the part assembly can be guaranteed.

2) In the processing of MG Roewe maxus engine and assemblies, the processing positioning method of the rod end face, the top face of the small head, the side face and the side face of the large head is adopted.

In the processing of the Bare Engine cover from the bolt hole to the oblique joint surface of the stop, the processing positioning method of its end face, the two seat faces of the bolt and one bolt seat face is adopted.

This positioning and clamping method with high repeatability, high positioning accuracy, stable and reliable, can make parts deform less and operate more conveniently, and can be used in various processes from rough machining to finishing.

Due to the uniform positioning datum, the size and position of the positioning point in each process are the same. These provide good conditions for stabilizing the process and ensuring machining accuracy.
