SQRF4J20 Bare Engine is a 2.0T turbocharged engine in the third-generation ACTECO engine series independently developed by Chery Automobile. Its full name is SQRF4J20, where S represents the deep cooperation between SAIC and Chery, QR represents Chery's brand logo, F represents the unique identity of the new series of engines, 4 represents the four-cylinder structure, J represents the direct injection technology, and 20 represents the engine displacement of 2.0L.

 

SQRF4J20 Chery Engine adopts a number of advanced technologies, including Miller cycle, 350 bar high-pressure injection system and CVVL twin-scroll turbocharger. Miller cycle controls engine load by changing the closing angle of the intake valve, reduces pumping loss, and improves thermal efficiency and fuel economy. The 350 bar high-pressure injection system makes gasoline particles finer, improves the oil-gas mixture ratio, enhances combustion efficiency, and reduces particulate matter emissions. The CVVL twin-scroll turbocharger automatically adjusts the valve lift according to the engine speed and load, optimizes high-speed and low-speed power output, and improves horsepower and torque.
