The SQRE4T15B engine is a high-performance 1.5T turbocharged engine launched by Chery Automobile. The thermal efficiency of this Chery Engine is as high as 37.1%, which is outstanding among independent brands. SQRE4T15B is an improved version based on SQRE4T15 Bare Engine, which mainly optimizes thermal efficiency and other technical parameters.

 

The SQRE4T15B engine adopts DVVT (Dual Variable Valve Timing) technology and Honeywell-Garrett's turbocharger, with a maximum net power of 112KW (about 151 horsepower). Although the VIS (variable intake system) accessories are removed compared to SQRE4T15, which affects the low-torque performance to a certain extent, it significantly helps to increase the maximum speed. The engine does not use direct injection technology, but its 1.5T displacement can still burst out a strong power of 147 horsepower.

 

SQRE4T15B Complete Engine is mainly installed on Tiggo 7 models, and its design is based on the optimized version of the 1.6L naturally aspirated engine installed on Arrizo 7. Although it does not use direct injection technology, it still has good performance in terms of power and is suitable for daily driving and high-speed driving needs.
