The Bare Engine is a rod-shaped component that connects the piston and the crankshaft. It transmits the force of the piston to the crankshaft, converting the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotational motion of the crankshaft.

The Mitsubishi Engine is a slender variable-section non-circular rod, whose rod body cross-section gradually decreases from the large end to the small end to adapt to the rapid changes in work.

It consists of three parts: the connecting rod head, the rod body and the connecting rod head. The connecting rod head is separated, half of which is integrated with the rod body, and half of which is composed of the Bare Engine cover.
